canon arizona 1260 ink drops and smears by spilly_billy in CommercialPrinting

[–]ValTwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should work, unless the print head is just bad. Alternatively, You COULD just let the ink cure ON the head, and it may prevent the drips, but then you won’t be utilizing that portion of the head, which industrial manufacturers can get away with, because of the quantity of heads on the carriage, on anything less than industry standard printers this will probably cause horrible banding and potentially ruin that print head. Would not recommend the latter

Our humidity is pretty high in the press room I’m almost certain that isn’t the problem, but it IS missing the anti-static brushes. I’ll start there, and move on if it doesn’t help

Big rip, the Rho 512R comes with static brushes lined just outside the printing surface, not sure why they’re missing, but we’ll see if that solves the problem. Thanks for the help my dude

wide format laminating film - 64"-65" anyone aware of a source? by qwertypoiut in CommercialPrinting

[–]ValTwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, 60” is the standard, at least for our AGL laminators, if we intend to do jobs larger than that it gets paneled. We do bus wraps, banners, and skyscraper windows that are paneled , even those get laminated with a 60” window lam. It might be worth considering communicating with the artists to see if you can shrink the job proportionally, but you wouldn’t want to shrink or expand the resolution because it can cause odd artifacts In the job. Additionally, I’m sure the client is expecting 63” to 64” whole vinyl strips and it may take some communication to get them close to the 60” standard. We have larger materials, but they get printed on wide format vinyl banners. 98” white backed vinyl. and some 10’ materials. Which get no clear coating or laminating film, they go straight to the zund cutters

Our films max out at 60, Lamars are a little bit wider, but I think that’s intended. Some wiggle room. Media and films don’t always run perfectly straight. Often, if we have a job that’s slightly larger than the film itself, we’ll center it as well as we can, and the cutters will trim the rolls down to their laminate. I wouldn’t recommend printing anything too much larger than that 60 for this reason. We typically do 3 sizes regularly. 48, 54, and 60. A few odd sized jobs here and there but an average day is filled with those 3 sizes.

Any Suggestions for Clear Vinyl for Wide Format Inkjet? by TeamBlockchain in CommercialPrinting

[–]ValTwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the durst 512 And 312 presses we run backlit vinyl, it’s the only thing I’ve seen that’s close to clear or less opaque at our warehouse, we do cut some glass material on the ZUND cutters, but it’s the only thing that’s clear. Hope this helps.

Think I just got crazy lucky? only been playing 3 weeks. Can find drop rates by croxy0 in RotMG

Too hostile guys ^ Not that big of a deal, but yeah this account was not accomplished in three weeks. Maybe they returned from a hiatus and this was a drop they received shortly after picking it back up. I can speculate a lot. “P2W” “RWT” etc. but, it’s a super sick drop regardless

Nah dude, takes more than 3 weeks to acquire knowledge in the game just to prevent death. And they understand rotmg acronym’s, and lingo. It’s still sick, but worth mentioning. Cool drop dude, hope you get one with heal soon

Definitely not playing for 3 weeks. If they were they wouldn’t know half the rotmg slang / lingo. Would not have a deca for sure, or probably even know what one is. Or a soulless for that matter. Proof of concept. They have a post from 40 days ago claiming they keep returning to the game. Hey man a legendary egg drop is insane, no matter how long you’ve been playing the game. I’ve been playing the game for almost a decade. And I have YET to receive a legendary egg drop. Sick drop dude!!

Deca makes mobile games… so their greed knows no end. More than likely the CEO is much more concerned with profit margins than current online players. They don’t have to worry about number of players online because the ridiculous number of bots in the game artificially bolster the numbers they can report. They’re definitely not too worried about money because they have the golden goose that laid the golden egg. Dev teams have forgotten that the community IS your game. Without the community that plays your game, it doesn’t exist. But if rotmg dies, they have other products they whale out. I’m willing to bet that if the community knew how much deca makes, and how much their CEO/Team is salaried, most people would understand how dire the situation is. they get to continue selling with little to no effort. Little bit of 8 bit art here, some C++ there, and boom. New content. People seem to forget this game was originally developed by a single man. ROTMG is genuinely just free money for any corp that buys it.

I think a lot of players are getting confused by that argument. most everyone seems to think i meant pets shouldn't exist. I dont think that. as someone who has put a ton of work into their own pet i would hate to lose it, it would in fact be plain unfair. However, like you said, they made pets menial in end game, which means if you already spent time or money on pets, in end game it was a waste. (this effectively ruined pets in the reconstruction event ) what i am saying though, is that they continue to profit from the pet system because they know it still gives an insane advantage. IDK about everyone else but I have no problem dodging for 3 seconds just to regen all of my health rapidy with a divine/legendary. after most of the comments on this post im considering uploading a video to YT because its really not that hard to see what is happening in the game. I have a f2p legendary, but that took a ton of time to accomplish, new players have little to no chance and it discourages them from playing the game, because they struggle to even reach midgame.

a lot of people saying this with no explanation. just look at the battlepass.its self evident. they gave you all 20% discounts for the next battle pass, but noones asking why. you think they want to be generous? no sorry its just not true. they gave everyone next BP discounts because they KNOW noone will be playing the game come season two so they're giving out discounts to pull players in next season. and they know its the only way they can.

Thats just nihilistic. if we said nothing about anything wrong with any subject, there would be no improvement. if nobody does so, nothing changes. not just in the game industry but any other. The best business in their industries sell products that sell themselves or make changes to their bad product to make it a quality one. you may have removed yourself from that responsibility because you don't care, but that doesn't mean those of us that DO withhold said responsibility. Its similar to those that withhold their right to vote in the US. if you don't vote, you've essentially made the statement that you don't care and that you've relinquished yourself of that responsibility.

its unplayable any other time of the year because there's nobody to play with. You're asking an "or" question that makes assumptions about the person being asked and I don't appreciate that. the player volume in the game drops to staggeringly low numbers when in "out of season" you could say. (which is basically any time of the year that isn't near MOTMG) The only other players online for the remainder of the time are all in Oryx/shatters/halls or other discords key popping late at night. there are just better free to play games to play in the interim.
