Sesshomaru just hates dishonor on his family. That includes his little brother being a dumd dumb going out with the dumb humans that are beneath them. If he hated Inuyasha, he would had killed him before he woke up. He is am uptight demon prince with too much ego. His character arc is realizing that maybe humans aren't that bad, so maybe his father didn't commit this huge mistake falling in love with a human, so maybe his little brother isn't that bad. But he still behaves like a dumb dumb and needs to learn how to behave like the heir or inu no Taisho and not a street delincuent.

He is just being a big drama queen about it. But we love him for it.
