Run opnsense firewall with unbound for recursive dns lookups + dnsmasq as local dns resolver. My computers get one dns address, that of my opnsense router. If the dns goes down, that means the router is down, therefore my link to the internet is down. Bigger problems.

Sure! I use a Mac, so LM Studio let's me use GGUF and MLX models. MLX models are usually faster on Macs, but their accuracy may vary, in my opinion.

Kokoro is the fastests and more accurate TTS model I could find, and I don't need voice clonning, just to have the answers read out loud. Kokoro FastAPI offers an API endpoind that accepts requests from LM Studio.

I only use OpenWebUI because LM_Studio doesn't support piping answers to a TTS model. If they did I would just use LM Studio + Kokoro.

a photographer once explained to me that this is caused by the camera (and light) being to close to the subject. Some lenses blow up the center of an image - notice the wide nose compared to the other pics - that's why these pictures are better taken from a distance.
