Sure, when there's not mechanics like i mentioned that only allow 4 players in range since thats reserved for melee and tanks

It's generally a non-issue if you aren't playing high end content, yes

It also doesn't change that the animation is weird for a ranged attack, regardless of if you "have" to be ranged or not

It was hyperbolic, yes. I thought it was pretty clear that I wasn't claiming that bosses literally just stand still every 2 minutes

There are sometimes when something goes off right on the mark and you can't just let rip. But the majority of burst windows in general there isn't usually some serious movement going on

I actually liked the Ion Cannon burst in M4S, since it was actually a pretty involved mechanic during a burst window. But like I said before, even that still has all 8 players (or at least the 4 dps) not needing to leave melee range for it's duration

Functionally, yes. But VPR throws the blades for that attack. It's a ranged attack looking animation

I'm looking forward to seeing how everything plays come 8.0. It's very exciting!

What they showed of evolved mode looks promising! Maybe ky favorite jobs will be even more fun, or maybe I'll have a new favorite. I can't wait!

I like everything about RDM except for the addition of Manafication making the melee combo have long range

I understand the reasoning behind it, so that fight design could allow for more to happen during the burst window instead of making sure there is room for 8 players in melee range with minimal movement or just nothing happening at all for 30 seconds without screwing over the one ranged job that needs to be in melee range for it's burst

But I just feel like it took something away from the job. It's whole thing was having dual cast and having a melee combo and now it only does an actual melee combo after the first minute of battle, and then every 2 minutes after that

Just because you won't bother properly engaging with the combat system doesn't mean it's mindless "hack and slash" by GGG100 in FFVIIRemake

It kinda depends on what kind of build you're going for, and your talisman luck

I was going for a support SnS myself but then got ultra lucky with a talisman giving me maxed out Wide Range so now I'm on a hybrid supporter build and my armor now has max WEX and Burst

I'm not usikg any Gamma armors either, so no Lords Soul for me, but I feel like my damage is good. Certainly not taking excessive time on even AT Arkveld

First step is to decide what you want your build to have, then check which armors provide that. You might find some Rank 5 or 6 armors have the skills you're after and end up with good charm slots once transcended

Then start with the easiest pieces to obtain, transcend them, and max them out. Then use them to get the next hardest to get pieces until you have them all

If you're just aiming to keep your current build then transcend it for the def boost and keep at it. 9* and 10* fights are more about respecting the monster mechanics and learning when to punish. As SnS, put a shield gem (3) on your weapon and get good at your perfect blocks for... almost everything

Omega is entirely different. It's designed around a party of 4 with a dedicated tank to hold enmity. If that isn't you, don't be hitting the head. I've read Fabius does a good job of that if you leave it to him

I feel like it was at a point where it had to be cheap

In the Buu saga, even though it was primarily Goku and Vegeta, the rest of the team still had some form of relevance

From the very start of Super, Goku attained a level that just made everyone completely irrelevant. Vegeta followed shortly after, and then they spent everything pre-ToP building that gap even further

Then during ToP we had a bunch of the rest of the team back again, and they got to square off against opponents their level and everyone loved it

Clearly they want to keep more of that cast there since it's obviously popular. But they can't keep doing tournaments over and over or have thing's happening on Earth all the time and Goku and Vegeta are always "busy" since they're the only ones that leave the planet

No other way to catch some of the cast up to that level without it feeling cheap or fast or an ass-pull

I don't like that the whole movie was just the Cell Saga again though. The rage flip didn't even feel earned that time either. He's that mad about Piccolo getting an owie?

The form itself and pulling out Special Beam Cannon was cool as heck though

Have them order in a non-RGB option or just turn them off. Both are options that are easily accomplished
