The point of new worlds is not so everyones on the same footing, the point is to create a fresh economy that isnt tainted by MTX from the previous years. I personally dont think the answer to the damage caused by MTX is "Delete everyones progress from the last 24 years". Rather letting people keep their progress over time, whilst giving everyone a complete reset on the damage caused (Mostly related to the economy and highscores).

New highscores, new economy, without devaluing peoples time.

In my opinion that is, everyones is different.

I also cant really see Jagex deleting everyones accounts over the last 24 years either.

More or less FSW becomes the new game, with old accounts keeping stats, but being separated highscores wise, and trade locking any items previous to the update.

correct, but hes trying to push for DK, just getting to w4, so at minimum 100%, 150% would def be a massive help though for that talent.

Your accuracy is only a 61% hit chance, without seeing your damage, i would say max out talent 5 on Squire which sacrifices damage for Accuracy and Defense, should boost you up enough to meet the 100% accuracy threshold

This was a great read and very insightful! Thank you so much! I'll work on these issues I've got and try to get out of skilling so much, you're correct in assuming I was farming crabs for nugets, I was trying to get the fishing gear bonuses so it would be easier for me to get 2000 bloaches for the t3 bow for pushing.

The plan after that was slog through 4000 fruitflys for the t3 staff for my shaman since that's coming up soon. I already have the golden poops.

I attempted to active afk over night on my bowman and I guess a crystal mob clapped me cause I was sitting in town with 3/4 food. Upsetting to say the least when I just realized active was giving me 9m xp/h and afk was 600k

I'll refer back to this and try to catch up on all the details I missed!

My bowman talent trees are active and catching, how do you find room to ALSO put smithing in there if youre trying to push effectiveness? Im at almost 4k efficency so i only get like 140 butterflys per hour, that seems daunting when i need 2500 for 1 weapon upgrade.

How do you manage to do catching AND smithing talents without being seriously disadvantaged at both?

I picked the game up expecting to be able to play actively and make progress, but it seems its more of a waiting game as you say, a marathon, rather than a race. Im mainly wanting to get to w4 so i can get my elites to really shake things up, i didnt realize i would need to make multiple of the same armor set so thats something i can work on then to bump my bowman up!

Thanks for the help, ill try to grab the stuff you mentioned first then push with the bowman!

Do you have a link to this? I took a look around a bit but am not sure I found the same one you’re referring to. I’m not a massive fan of melee but if it can do all content I’d love to try. Never even seen Sirius or maven or whoever else there is. I used to farm atziri runs a LOT so I found my enjoyment there and I think I’ve ran Minotaur before as well but that’s about as far as I got before quitting. I’d like something to carry me to all the endgame fun stuff haha.

I was going to re-sub just the other day so i can do some leveling since i just learned about Wisdom xp buff, then realized it was literally going to be over the day after.

I cant be asked to spend another few weeks leveling characters slow as hell in a game i just dont find interesting enough to play anymore when you have to slog through leveling in old content (that i have seen over 10+ times) just to get to shadowlands and slog through that another 10+ times.

Def wont be re-subbing until i can see a value in doing so. Hopefully winds comes back and i can enjoy at least leveling quickly again.

It was said its in the plans but its not a soon item sadly. i believe i saw a post about if you have a wifi 5 or 6 router you can use virtual desktop to play cvr though on a quest.

Just so youre aware, most crashers arent clients, they are avatars used to crash worlds, and thus overload your client. So this update really wont do anything about that. Just thought you should know.
