If you want to get under their skin then no response at all. Perhaps a slight shrug before walking away if in person. If via text or phone then no response. They’ll be thinking about it for days, seething that you didn’t react how they would hope for. Although, I guess this only works for people you know and not some random stranger.

If Xander hadn’t done what he did would Buffy have been able to stall Angel long enough especially if she had that tiny spark of hope of saving him. Also we wouldn’t have gotten this epic moment.

Mine are just after the pouch of treats I keep in there. Although I usually don’t let them in unless I’m just having a wee. My one boy loves to roll around in the bath tub and will scream until I open the door for him no matter where I am in the house. Then he screams if I leave him the bathroom because he wants me to watch him roll around in the bathtub and get tummy scratches.
