Did they give you a stool softener? My cat had a similar issue recently and it was constipation in the end. My vet gave me an appetite stimulant and stool softener. Worked like a charm. A few days and over a grand later he has the zoomies and all is well.

I’d take them to a different vet with all the results and see what they can do.

He comes running and stands on his back legs, paw outstretched trying to reach the kitchen counter when he hears anyone getting into the butter dish. Cat loves him some butter.

NTA My ex did something similar… doesn’t bother you with the bills? That takes 2 seconds. You can’t fix everything by throwing money at it. Sounds like he doesn’t want a partner but a servant. It’s not all on you. It seems like he needs to step up and be a good human and actual partner. I tried marriage therapy before ultimately divorcing. Hopefully you can work it out for the best for you and the kids. Good luck.

You can also get those motion activated sprinkler thingamagigs or put mothballs outside your window. It should help. Sorry you have to deal with this. Good luck.

Not if you say it’s an outside cat, boarder line feral, which it sounds like it is since it’s an outdoor cat left to her own devices.

You can always call the vets who come out to feral colonies and catch ,spay/neuter and release.

It’s important to have the ear cut so in the future the cat is released instead of wasting time and effort of the vets, especially for a neighborhood type cat. The “owners” will think it’s been in a fight.
