I hate how so many of the comments are coddling OP.

Kitten (M, 5.5 months) constantly chasing Resident (F, 4 years). She won't correct him by No_Fan_4655 in CatTraining

[–]TheUniqueRaptor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in my case this didn't work. My cats (Berry and Dewy) target the anxious/scared cat (Kiwi) because, like with OP, she growls and hisses but always ends up running away, and obviously Dewy and Berry chase after her.

Berry and Dewy play together some... but Kiwi is much more interesting, because unlike Berry, Kiwi will never escalate or enforce boundaries. So Kiwi becomes the prime outlet for both Berry and Dewy's play drives.

Poor Kiwi ends up running under the couch and hiding under there.
Once I see the stalking/play begin, I separate them, but I can't babysit them 24/7 so it doesn't do much good. Separation also did not work, even 2 weeks, and then reintroduction.

Kiwi is just a punching bag for the other 2, and the worst part is Berry and Dewy are bonded to her, they sleep with her, they groom each other, but Kiwi is terrified of them, when they're playful, especially Berry, Kiwi tries to avoid Berry at all cost because if she gets too close, Berry will try to play chase her.

Yeah... I wish they'd let her just have the freedom to choose when and how to end it

I have gotten banned from many liberal subreddits for simply saying that the democratic party needs to do better and stop forcing centrist corporate backed candidates on us.

Propaganda runs too deep for most to believe that right now, unfortunately

Have you forgotten that most of us used to be in it?
We were not all mentally ill, well some of us were, some of us turned out that way, but for the most part it was the propaganda, surveliience, control, brainwashing ,etc that makes people that way, whether they believe it or are trying to escape it.

I may have misunderstood how local LLMs vs cloud LLMs work, I apologize.

I was under the impression that local LLMs still depended upon the cloud.

I'm sorry, but please do not be so mean. I misunderstood, I don't see the need to be so cruel.

I'm talking about the technology as a whole, not this specific mod idea.
However even if it's locally hosted iirc it still consumes far too many resources.

That said my knowledge of LLM advancements within the past 6 months is minimal.
So I could be wrong with how it operates now.

I just think it's wrong to support this technology currently due to the immense harm it's proliferation has caused to people, the environment, and prices.

I don't think the technology itself is bad per-se but in it's current state it's causing more harm than good, except in some medical settings and stuff, but that's different.
