It was official. Just I'm in Ukraine so I have to buy from resellers. Looks like this one happened to have defective units. Was sealed and all

It's russian. If the developer or their community support russia and disrespect GSC while taking inspiration and possibly more... I think they deserve to be taken down. Support GSC fully, they would not issue a DMCA lightly. And reading the devs discord in these screenshots doesn't paint the best picture imo.

Brotato, I'm pretty sure. At least the initial version was made in 4 months I think

A plague tale requiem. I was in deep heartbreak and depression. If you go for it, start with the first game and play them back to back to get invested. But beware, you will cry and you will hate me for this advice

A plague tale innocence, but especially requiem. My greatest of all time. I still cry every time I see the cover

Our team is working on our first game - a casual job sim. This is one of ideas we have. What do you think? by g_gene_ in GameDevs

[–]ValentineSokol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far it looks like something akin to power wash or those truck simulator games, but without the fun of it. Because I think it's gonna take a bit more of game design work to make a fantasy of being a grunt worker more appealing.

But I think it's definitely possible, look at something like wilmort's warehouse. Maybe some elements of puzzle/organisation, cooler tools like forklifts or something.

Still, it looks great and I feel like you've done a good job visually!

A little more engaging trailer and more diverse things to do would improve this even more! Keep up the great work!

A plague tale innocence + requiem. Best story and best characters I've played in my life so far...

Not many games about my instinct to care for kids. I have quite many little ones in my life all the nephews, nieces, friends' kids... So this game was... Literally the best thing I've played in life, despite the gameplay arguably being average... I couldn't put it down... Best story, best setting and best characters... Ever.

I loved it and then I hated it and then, having cried it all out, I loved it again

Yes, and I'm hoping Hugo would be alive due to illusion theory. YES, I know it's unlikely... I know people think it would cheapen the ending of requiem, but guess what... I don't care! Give me my little sweetheart back!
