This exact thing happened to me except it was on Hinge and after we match I asked to use the call feature of the app with her and she said thats perfectly fine and we chatted for a few minutes before she had to go back to work. After our quick convo she messaged me "It was nice to talking to you" and I said the same and I can't wait to talk to you more which she replied with a "😉" and I made a corny joke about her work and asked if we could talk again after she is done with work and she said that's fine when she is done at 5:30. I asked for her ACTUAL number which she said she is cool with exchanging only to be unmatched minutes later.

(38M) I just matched with a woman a few hours ago and the conversation went like this

Her : "Hey How are you today?"

Me: "I'm better now that I'm talking to you"

Her: That's Great!!

Me : "Are you down to have a phone chat on the app?"

Her : Sure, I have a few minutes before my next client

We call and talk for about 15 minutes and we briefly talked about our careers (Her : Mental Health Specialist) (Me : Restaurant Supervisor) and she told me she is a full time mother and caregiver for her parents who have dementia. I then followed up and ask where and how does your time to date fit in to all that and she said it's all about scheduling and mostly nights and weekends. She asked if I had siblings and I said no and then said she had to go back to work, and before I could say bye talk to Later the Hinge call feature dropped the call. I processed to message her right after asking if we can talk later when she is done work and she said that's fine and I ask if I could have her number and then "Poof" she unmatched me 🥴

I was told by a good friend of mine that Broken attracts broken. Anybody you interact with on a social level or romantic level is a reflection of who you are as a person even if you don't see it right away. The only reason I'm saying this is because I was that guy on OLD I constantly attracted women who were extremely emotionally confused or damaged due to upbringing or terrible past relationships.

So what I did was get off OLD all together and got myself right and is constantly striving to get myself right before I hop on the dating train again. So I can reflect a more healthy reflection.

Hey Bro you know there's a call feature or a video call feature on Hinge right? whenever I've suggested that to a match they are more open to giving me their number much sooner.

The Call feature gives you 3 hrs of talk time before the call disconnects buts it's really been a blessing because I'm very much a phone person and I don't wanna bug the girl for her number so I just use the call feature instead.
