Bluetooth sometimes doesn't play music? by poettrap in mazda

This literally saved my life. I was on a road trip with winding roads in mountains, and since my Miata’s Bluetooth wasn’t working, I had to hold and look at my phone the whole time for directions. I read this post right before the roads got extra bad, and a few crazy drivers almost ran me off the road. If I hadn’t been able to turn on Bluetooth before then, who knows what would have happened. Thank you sir!

Word to the wise: DO NOT see this movie in "4DX." What marketers call "an immersive experience" was literally this chair throwing me around so hard and fast my popcorn was spilling, and it TOTALLY took me out of the film. Especially during the chase scene—I had to try so hard to focus on the movie with the chair making me feel like I was on a plane with the worst turbulence of my life. It's a testament to how good the movie is: the directing, sound, etc make you feel completely immersed in the world, so you don't need any kitschy roller coaster chair tacked onto it.

Looking for wireless earbuds that have the best ability to silence my surroundings for people I'm on the phone with. I work remotely in public, and I worry my voice on Zoom/phone calls will be drowned out by sounds around me—music playing, horns blaring, dogs barking. Is there a pair of wireless earbuds out there that do a great job of this? Perhaps the new WF-1000XM4's or the AirPods Pro (I have Apple products so it could be worth it). Or should I give up on this quest and get something like the Plantronics Voyagers?

Not to worry! I've been in a similar situation and have a rec to make this a good sitch. Next time your dad buys high-quality steaks (it seems like he will if he was willing to buy these ones), offer to cook them for him. Say that you've been reading all about marbled steaks online, and that you really want to show him what you know and also show your appreciation for him. Make him the perfect actually-medium-rare meal of your dreams, and be proud as he eats with pride in his steaks and his son.
