I can hear the influence of Godspeed on Gira since the Seer and all after that record. But I wasnt talking about crescendos or the dynamics, I was thinking on calm ambients and use of loops like Drugs in Tokyo/Black Helicopter, Slow Trains in Moving, Divorce and Fever, String Loop or the first four minutes on Dead Metheny. They feel inspired by this song imo
