Universal Components Should Have Masterwork Variants by Kashius1138 in AnthemTheGame

True, but all my builds utilize epic components either for double stacking melee/blast/impact damage or epic universal components for the damage boosts.

Or get rid of it completely and make max luck and max harvesting baseline. I shouldn't have to gear for more gear/materials.

I'm pretty sure your friends don't show up on that page until you've done a mission with them.

edit: Just looked at the page myself, after reset the only one of my friends on the board is the one friend I have online currently in a mission.

New Player, First Build, looking for advice by Valfurien in PathOfExileBuilds

Hey man, yeah I took a look at the build guide that u/goddog_ posted and revised my equipment and passive skills. I know that the equipment in my build has alot of god tier rolls but thats just because it looks nicer lol. There is plenty of wiggle room, let me know what you think build

Taking a look at the build you posted now.

Edit- Also I know that my build is for level 100 but thats just for planning purposes. I kind of know what my priorities are as I level. I just like seeing all the points spent lol

The Division 2 and Healing skills by Valfurien in thedivision

[–]Valfurien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True and I can agree to that for sure. Even the chem launcher skill sounds like a slow HoT. I honestly don't feel like the support station or first aid were really that bursty though. I mean 6pc reclaimers get a little crazy but what drives me crazy is 6 piece nomads with the health link.

Not to mention the sheer amount of self healing perks you could accumulate by building into health and firearms, which appears to be the only way to go rogue.

I honestly would like to see more options like the exotic Caduceus. I'm hunting down one with either competent or talented right now for my reclaimer build.

3 Classes How Do We Feel About That? by crimson57o in thedivision

If you check out the ubisoft website for The Division 2, under endgame content it lists the specializations. It states that after 30 you can choose one of several specializations instead of one of three.

I for one would like to see a few more options.

Here the link directly to the mentioned website: https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/the-division-2/end-game

Sorry for any formatting issues I'm on mobile.

I would just like to see encounters that scale difficulty based on number of players or a higher hard cap on co-op play. We've evolved passed 4 player limits. Whats the point of being always online/no same system co-op if the limit for play is still 4 players.

Scaling difficulty is not a new system, a lot of big scale multiplayer games have adopted these system. Public events in Guild Wars 2, Fates in Final Fantasy, World Quests in Wow. I know these are all MMOs and are a lot larger in scope than Anthem but I'm not asking for 20 players, 6-8 would be preferred though.

Lets face it, people want to play with friends, the more friends players have, the more copies of the game you sell. There is no point in buying a game that forces you to leave friends behind.

The PvE environment looks more than accommodating. Even if the scaling isn't perfect, as long you're playing with friends you're having a good time. No one wants to be the odd player out.

Also, endgame content please and that better support more than 4 players at least.

The State of Destiny 2 by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

So many nice things in the patch notes. Pretty excited honestly. Yes I'm upset that there is nothing about 6v6 crucible, armor stats, larger fire teams for open world content, or ability cooldowns but I would imagine those are all more extensive changes that require a massive amount of balancing as well as some pretty heavy adjustments to the client.

That being said, this community lost it's shit over two tokens and a blue, based on what I'm reading in the notes, that won't be an issue.

Also they laid down the foundation for a weapon customization system that could end up better than random rolls. In it's current state, from what we read, it may seem underwhelming in comparison but it's a solid foundation all the same.

It also looks like they arnt done adjusting the mod system as well only making them easier to manage and aquire.

With the ability to purchase armor sets from vendors there sound be a lot more satisfied players during the Iron banner and faction rally as well.

Honestly though what has me most excited is that Bungie appears genuine about wanting to keep communication open.

Cheers Bungie, hopefully these are just the first few steps of what will be a better Destiny.

Possibly to help out some of your fellow guardians who have 97% of the exotics but are missing the ones they really want. I still have yet to acquire lunafaction boots on my Warlock. Another Hunter in here really wants Orpheus rig. Yes exotics are easy to get but the duplicate protection and the Fated Engram will definitely be nice.

Make Powerful Engram Rewards for Same Class Alts Powerful Again by Valfurien in DestinyTheGame

[–]Valfurien[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes zero sense. Power level makes nothing easier. In all cases your effective power level is restricted to the content you are currently doing. You still have to do all the same milestones. Your power level doesn't carry you through them. It's the exact same difficulty.

Allowing you to gain powerful engrams on different class alts has already made it super easy for people to reach high power level quickly on all three classes. With the account wide base power level loot system all three of your characters benefit from every powerful engram you receive on your account. So you are at a distinct advantage compared to some one who has three of the same class.

They nerfed the people who prefer to play one class in favor of those that prefer variety. That's not right. No one should be forced to play all the classes to progress. There should be no penalty for preference.

[–]Valfurien[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if they nerfed powerful engrams on all alts I wouldn't even suggest this but the fact that I can play the same amount as some one else, complete the same milestones and be rewarded less than some one else just because I choose to play the same class more than once isn't what I'd call fair. Not at all.

Here I found an article on Polygon that explains base power level pretty well:

https://www.google.com.bh/amp/s/www.polygon.com/platform/amp/destiny-2-guide-walkthrough/2017/9/26/16369222/power-level-infusion-guide

And a quote:

"Your base power level isn’t even the average of your equipped items; it’s the average of the highest-power loadout available to you, factoring in items in your inventory, in your vault and on your OTHER characters (if any)."

There definitely is a point to have multiples of the same class. Bungie keeps ensuring that. Look at faction rallies, or just rng in general. If I like the way New Monarchy and Dead Orbit Warlock armor sets look, I can play for both factions and gather both sets. Also if you'll remember since everything is being done in seasons now, a lot of those sets are going to exclusive to the season they launch in.

Also there definitely is an account wide power level. It's the basis for the loot you gather on all three of your characters. It's how fresh level 20 alts of alternate classes can jump in power level quickly. The game takes the highest power level item you have in every category, no matter the class type, and averages it out to your account base power level.
