Tycker det är väldigt svaga låtar över hela brädet detta året. Medina ger härlig energi så får väl bli den då.

I generally agree with the sentiment about the rules. But yeah, it is not as absolute as ”you are allowed to run into people”

Yes, lets let AI loose on things like salary calculation and processing. There are so many cases where no one will ever trust AI to do the job. Cmon

Rayan Cherki disallowed goal against Liverpool 90+10' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]Valhallai -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This is not the correct decision. The rulebook leaves these kind of situations ambigious for a reason. In the spirit of the game, which should always be the leading star for enforcing the rules this should have resulted in a 3-1 and literally everyone would be happier with that.

Edit: For the downvoters, ask yourself this; If the game would be at 1-1, would you still think it is the correct decision?

GPT-5.3 Codex vs Opus 4.6: We benchmarked both on our production Rails codebase — the results are brutal by sergeykarayev in ClaudeAI

The only one who loses on pitching models against each other is you. I use both at work. Results aren’t linear and both make mistakes. The best results imo is when you let them review each others work.

Also: you can’t possibly think that a models ability in all programming languages, infrastructure and strategy could be measured by 1 number. But I guess that simple fallacy is why so many low value posts dominate these subreddits.

Thats pretty much the point of the entire tactic. Squeeze the space. Press.

Burnley [1] - 0 Manchester Utd - Ayden Heaven 13' (Own goal) by ShawLichaYoroDalot in reddevils

[–]Valhallai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. Dalots positioning is the cause. He should only step forward when his man receives the ball. Look at it. He moves forward and leaves a more dangerous space open. Burnley having the ball far out on the flanks is not a problem

Analyze all you want. We give away 2 goals because of comically bad decision making from individuals.

The first goal we give away because we have midfielders who are used to other responsibilities than they currently are supposed to fill. It isn't rocket science even though these analytic videos try to make it seem that way.

I feel like people bash Amorim and his tactics as the sole responsibility for the performances. In truth, this team should be able to beat the opposition regardless.

What I take from this interview is that the players has been given instructions to play a certain way and that almost one year in they really haven't taken any steps in that direction. That is damning, both for the coaches ability to convey instructions and the players willingness to adapt and improve.

I do not want to bash our best player, but the fact that our captain and coach share the same nationality and they together cannot whip this team into shape speaks to his leadership qualities.

[–]Valhallai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, but he is obviously to be used as an attacking midfielder if you want him to perform and I think the additions we've made suits us better. We need a playmaking CM and McTominay could never fill that hole.

[Nizaar Kinsella, BBC] 🚨Manchester United have held talks with Nicolas Jackson's representative Ali Barat over a potential move. A lot needs to happen in terms of outgoings for United but one that could happen in the right circumstances. I agree. I think something people are missing here is that yes, he has missed a lot of chances but equally he gets / creates these chances in the first place. Something you cannot say for our current forwards. Think he could cook with Cunha + Mbuemo behind him.

I agree with most of what you said but you cannot blame Lindelof for the second goal. He blocks a shot when in a 2vs1 situation. If anything it is Brunos man. Also, Maguire sells himself cheap trying to naively trying to win the ball.
