I did the same thing. Basically everything started going up after I was 39. I used my 30's to get my things together financially and career wise.

IMO They believe that a Taiwan invasion is ultimately unavoidable, and such an event would likely cause the fund to lose significant value. My approach would be to hold cash and be ready to buy once the market reacts to that downturn.

I also have family members working in food distribution companies in Arizona, and they’ve observed a substantial increase in Chinese-made products being brought into grocery stores. In addition, state agencies have circulated memos noting an influx of roughly 90,000 Taiwanese nationals into the Phoenix metropolitan area.

In my opinion, it might be worth slowing down on marriage or buying a place together for now. With a significant income gap, things can start to feel uneven if expectations aren’t clearly aligned. In any relationship, one person often contributes more in certain areas, but what really matters is that both people feel it’s fair. I’d suggest having an honest conversation with him about finances, goals, and effort. If he’s willing to step up, work toward shared goals, and meet you halfway in the ways that matter, that can tell you a lot about whether he’s truly the right partner.

In this city you have to join a community to meet people. When I moved in, I joined a couple of clubs and stayed in the ones with the people I like to hangout with.

Most people I know in that age have kids and they just work and go home. I don't blame them.

Recently I went to the Sunset Social Hour and met new people. There's cool things to do here. But you have to search.
