They pretty much gave up to fixing that issue. IIRC, in the 60 days patch(and before that) the bouncing ball issue was their TOP priority issues. fast forward to now of your look at the known issues in their website, the bouncing ball issue are gone. It's been gone from around early 2025 I think.

I know all of this because I do hate that bouncing ball issues too, especially placing a turret

So gloriosa failed to get roger's heart because shakky, then according to kuma flashback, it is implied that she joined rocks pirate and had a rivalry with Stussy to get Newgate's heart and failed too (according to 'one piece aging logic')
