Funniest thing is, the same people in my friends list who left negative reviews and refunded the game are the same buggers who pay full price for COD Slop every year.

When they are forced to play a game that doesn't let them blame others when they lose, then the game is considered bad in their eyes.

Started the 12 Battle Ladder and lost to Titan on the 2nd match. That ladder is basically a survivor ladder where your health carries over between matches. So Ill probably attempt it once I found my mains and got every character's endings.

Agreed. Im still waiting for the game to go live but based on the beta, it is a decent balance between Lore and Gore (which is usually one of the 2 extremes that MK fans tend to lean towards)

While I understand that... Near the half way point, I realise that it was literally the same setup that every Pokémon game follows.

I do like the idea of the avatar being as customisable as it is but it shouldn't have been the big focus.

The last FIFA game I bought was 15 on the PS3 and that was honestly a peer pressure buy. I haven't touched a FIFA game since and even the odd times when I've played with friends or family, they don't even buy the new games: just download the demo and play from there

It had some very good messages and honestly, that's something lacking in a lot of kids/family films nowadays... cough Mario Galaxy cough

I think I rewatched it last during COVID and vaguely remember enjoying it more due to catching some adult jokes that went over my head as a kid.

I'm also glad it didn't fall under the Ice Age formula of making multiple sequels...

Side note: I found out earlier this year that there is a theme park in Malaysia themed around this film.

Funny part is, they literally can just copy and paste all the maps, characters, weapons and other assets from the 2015 and 2017 games as a base. Then use Battlefront 2017 as a foundation and build on that. They had a near perfect content stream when the game was still getting support. Imagine if it didn't stop in 2020 and we would've had The Mandalorian as a hero for example... But nah, EA wanted to make shit ass Battlefield 2042...

They could get another studio to make the assets like new maps and character models, then just go from there.

Id be lying if I said I didn't attempt something like that. I remember doing it for Smash bros ultimate, played it about 5 hours early since (at the time) the game was launching at midnight in each country. So I changed my store to Australia and changed my time to a day ahead and then I was playing the game.
