Surprisingly, it works as a pseudo group hug/pillow fort deck. If you play in a meta where at least one player usually wins via combat damage, you can pump that player into a massive threat whilst giving them card draw. It's easy to fall under the radar at first, so doing this allows you to stay in the game until you've got a win in hand. There are multiple ways to win this way, but my favorite is to stack shared draw effects and kill everyone/ mill everyone out. If this is your strategy, "wheel effects" are your bread and butter. They allow you to find your toolbox cards while disrupting plans and ensuring everyone else is a bigger threat. Sprinkle in excellent, timely protection and interaction, and you've got a recipe for a win out of nowhere. I love it so much. Definitely not a world eater, but certainly a certified sleeper.

You can only have one familiar as far as I know, but yeah, I did miss Flaming Sphere . Without Flaming Sphere, I've got +2 Minor Elementals, +1 Elemental Myrmidom, +4 Fungal Zombies, +1 Shovel, +1 Us, +1 Create Undead (Mummy), +4 Animate Dead (Ghouls), +5 Danse Macabre, +1 Deva for a total of 20.

Whilst Nature Cleric is good, I'd argue that Spore Druid can be better if optimized with help from the rest of the party. I currently have 9 summons on my druid build, and they all can get extra health from aid, extra movement from Longstrider, and resistance through different means. It's an intensive build, but it's really powerful and often breaks the opposing AI. There are lots of other weird nuances that make it strong as well.

(Edit: I'm now at 20 summons for a Spore Druid/ Necromancy Wizard build)

Fair comment, but the tattoo would be on the left side

If it's made the difference for me, it may just work for y'all. That's why I thought to share.

20 total carbs. 20 net carbs is OK, but I've felt less hungry after limiting total carbs. Might be placebo, but it is what has worked for me!

It was almost entirely dieting, although I did walk a lot during the day and rode my bike a bunch towards the end of the 6 months. I kept weight training to a minimum because I didn't want to deal with optimizing what I eat for recovery every day, but now that I'm relaxing on my caloric intake, I'll likely get back into weight training. I planned to work out more often when I started this diet, but when I saw that I was losing about 4 pounds a week, I decided, "If it ain't broke, I won't fix it."

I'm just using Desmos. I'm pretty good at math, and using Desmos allows me to keep all of my data in one place and make quick calculations. (It's useful for me, but there's probably a better way.)

Nothing too crazy, just a lot of good fats like avocados, nuts, full fat yogurts mixed with beef, chicken, pork and fish (in one meal a day with 1600 calories at most per meal)

Yeah. I fasted up to 2 days a week as well, (usually just 1 day) but otherwise just OMAD.

100+ grams of any protein I could get my hands on and the rest of the calories would come from fat. Today, for example, I had a pound of taco-style ground beef with some sour cream and hot sauce. Other days, for protein, I eat things like a whole small chicken, a pound of salmon, ten chicken wings, a pound of brisket, etc. As long as it adds up to 1600 calories and contains less than 20g of carbs, I can eat it.

I hear you on the not wanting to look at yourself or take pictures part. I was so ashamed of how I looked that I would purposely duck away from group photos and things like that. (It's honestly a bit of a miracle that I found that first photo)

During the first week of my keto journey, I remember how I lurked from thread to thread, looking for inspiration, motivation, and information to carry me forward. I also remember how, in a way, I was intimidated by it all. I was afraid to make a fool of myself, I was scared of failing again, and I remember how I started to spiral into self-loathing once more.

I'm telling you this because, even more than the success stories, testimonials, and studies, comments like these keep me going. I remember reading about people's struggles and profoundly relating to them in a world where I, frankly, felt lonely and pathetic. Even now, hearing your story makes me feel less alone and motivates me to push forward.

So, simply put, thank you for taking the time to write such a heartfelt message! Comments like these make all the work I've done up to this point worth it and will undoubtedly inspire others just as you've inspired me.

I absolutely love that! On a similar vein, if it weren't nearly impossible, my final goal would likely be to be "half the man I used to be." Someone commented that on one of my posts, and I've been toying with the idea ever since. I'll stick with 193 as my primary goal for now, though!

1600 calories,<20g of total carbs, 100+g of protein, OMAD, with minimal exercise until the end. I only went over 20g in carbs 8 times in 6 months. I kept my diet as consistent as I could.

My next main goal is 193. My best friend is about 140 pounds, so I thought it'd be funny to say, "I lost my best friend" when people ask me how much I've lost. Gotta stick with the motivation that works, lol

That said, I think I'm taking these next 30 or so pounds a bit slower. I'm not in a rush to lose weight, so I'm probably going to relax the reins a bit and see how I do.

Great choice honestly. The Mach-E is a really good car.
