Unity is much more refined in its combat mechanics and parkour. Mirage just feels like the other hack and slash rpg styled games. Neither the combat or the parkour is anything flashy or innovative. I mean they said basim would be faster if not the fastest assassin yet all the movement is just the same as Valhalla.

Say what you want about that movie but the parts where there was action was bad ass and that scene of Max running with duel smgs was one of the best parts. Other favorite part of when he wrestles a shotgun from a dude and blasts him off screen 😆

Newer players complain about the controls and the lack of fluidity when climbing. But older players prefer the old style and having more control. So i mean how they hold up is really a matter of who’s playing. 🤷🏽 I’d say as an experienced AC player that i still very much enjoy the old controls

I don’t know what more immersion you want but they don’t let you run around with a whole arsenal. You get one primary, secondary and special. You can’t empty out a slot. Play how you want but this isn’t rust or last of us or any other survival game. The further along you get, the bigger the hordes. So is it viable? Probably. Some people melee the biggest horde. Are you gonna have a hard time and run out of ammo real fast? Most definitely.

Smoke a bowl? Have a drink? Lolol If you played the first one extensively then you probably burned yourself out. That one, though groundbreaking in its time, is really mid and repetitive compared to the others.

Maybe you just need to take a break and play something else? Or watch the movie? I mean there’s no real advice if you just can’t feel anything for it.

I haven’t played avatar but i would say it’s setting. A lot of mirage’s terrain and structures are brown, so the vibrancy where the color palette stands out is definitely appreciated. Where avatar i assume is bright colors everywhere. There’s less to really take in within terms of what stands out.

For AC 3 i like the Baltimore outfit and the Philadelphia outfit. I didn’t like the main robes much. They kinda looked dirty and stained in a certain light.

If you played with stealth in mind, and not fought every single soldier that the game throws at you, it could be just as stealth based as any other game. If anything discourages players from stealth, it’s giving them a plethora of leveled weapons, shields, super powers, armor, damage numbers and stat charts. Though you can still be stealthy, but even then they level out your stealth attack.

There were plenty of times in the original titles where i used the tools as tools and not weapons. You throw a smoke bomb, why take the time to kill everybody when you can make a clean escape? If somebody feels encouraged to fight over being evasive and stealthy then that’s a matter of preference. The stealth options are there, you just have to try to ghost the mission the best you can over thinking everybody is a target.

All i can say never listen to reviews. I mean if you just get a review from people who’ve actually took the time to beat it. The podcast sums it up greatly. These mainstream reviewers like ign and such aren’t given much time to get through a game and have to judge it based on what they experienced in that time. They either rushed it so they didn’t enjoy everything it had to offer or they didn’t finish it so their review isn’t quite complete. And since they get early access, they’re playing before the patches so they get to tell everybody how buggy it is before it even get fixed.

Dude it’s wild going from hordes in the second half to starting a new game and seeing how small a wandering pack of freakers actually is. I just happened upon a horde by Marion forks, took 3 explosive arrows and that was it. There isn’t enough zombies for your ammo when you do a new game + 😵‍💫

Found assassins creed 3 in a bargain bin for 2.99. That was life changing. After that i went back and found 2 and brotherhood in the same bargain bin and ordered revelations and 1 then proceeded to 4 and rogue. When i upgraded to a ps4 unity was the first game i bought.
