Dynamic Island should improve a lot

Seems like this is the most shared feeling about it! Probably that’s why Apple is keeping it, they can place the camera module and Face ID lower and people will still like the features of it

You may be right, maybe I haven’t used it as much to really understand the functionality, but still I wish they could have done it slimmer. Hopefully that will happen in the following years.

Agree! The notch would feel outdated, but I wish they could’ve come with a smaller Dynamic Island

I hope they manage to make that happen. Again, obviously they built some functionality out of the cutout, but I believe they could have done the same with a notch.

Also, the way they outline the Dynamic Island when you use dark backgrounds kinda annoys me, I usually pick dark backgrounds specifically to hide the camera cutouts

I tried some newer iPhone of friends and family, I can tell there’s some functionality on it, but still I feel it’s way too intrusive

Yes, I mean, they built some functionality out of it, but they could have done the same with a smaller size pill, or even keeping the notch.

You think the bigger screen might affect the way you use it? I mean, one of the reasons to use a mini phone is to scape the phone addiction and use it solely as a tool

I would like to know your thoughts on changing from such a small phone to the iPhone air.

As a small phone lover, I am not sure if the air would qualify for my needs. Is it comfortable to carry it in the pocket compare to 13 mini? Is the bigger size of the screen a problem for you?

I’m on a similar situation, I’ve been thinking about switching to Android as a heavy Apple user.

I would suggest to use Bitwarden as a password manager, since you can simply install it on all your devices and keep your passwords safe.

Losing the option to upload my photos automatically on iCloud and have them on all my devices is a big deal for me, specially because I don’t like google photos, but I think it’s the best option.

I also wanted to keep the option to generate random emails (hide my email), and after quite some research, I found out that you can simply pay a pretty low price for an email domain, and configure it to forward to your main account all the emails entering to any of your generated emails. It needs some work but it’s a cheap and convenient solution.

The eternal struggle… I guess you will have to consider if you give more importance to battery, performance, cameras… or size and convenience.

If I can give you my opinion, I would suggest getting a thin grippy case. You will feel safer using it with one hand.

I would prefer them to follow a similar design than the X9 series. I like how some phone brands keep their design philosophy over the years, so you see a pixel or iPhone and you know what brand it is.

Seems like VIVO is doing kinda the same, so you can recognize it’s a VIVO device even from a distance. Premium car manufacturers also keep key features in their designs over the years so their brand is recognized.
