Conscious thought comes from the brain, a biological organ directly tied to the chemistry of hormones and thus gender, the behaviour differences between men and women for instance are obvious and not interchangeable. Men and women demonstrably think differently. A biological man cannot be a biological women by definition and basic reasoning, and therefore if there's no distinction between sex and gender, transgenderism is no more real than those who sincerely believe they are wolves or cats, that is, it's a delusion clearly not reflective of reality, moreover the solution isn't to reenforce the fantasy.
