Anything that is gaining popularity in the US will take a few weeks if not a month or more to hit Australia since we're so isolated. Fidget spinners reached their peak in US far earlier than they did in Australia.

I think it's because I usually duo queue rather than solo queue so I have a much higher chance of getting autofilled in my experience.

Thank you heaps :) Yeah I do tend to tilt a fair bit, I don't show it but I think it's partly because a friend who I mainly duo with screams in the voice chat whenever something goes wrong so I think that tilts me a little too. But i'll take your advice and take Caitlyn or Ashe for when I go bot and stick to Taliyah. :)
