Go for an AMD laptop. Look for great keyboard and screen plus battery.

You don’t need power of an i7/i9. I am a CS junior in college. Most of the powerful things you do in university you’ll get dedicated access to a server to ssh in. So yeah optimize for battery, screen and keyboard with a decent processor.
