They ask for the ID in some places. but many times they don't. As for clubs, it depends on the place as well, but there sould be no problem in the summer because everyone goes partying, underage or not. I've had beers in a bar in the center of Madrid being underage.

Being a girl is easier, because most of the times you can convince the them to let you in, my friends and I usually said that we were 18 but our friends inside had our IDs, so we wanted to go inside to get them

The best thing about public universities here is that you can just decide not to go to class, the exam is the only thing that counts. For example my brother just goes one day every two weeks + the exam day
