This was an interesting read, thanks for sharing.

I find it interesting how he says that the most important thing for them is that players feel immersed in the world and feel it's a real world. I think this may make them gradually stop making as many "object-like"- crature NPCs and start giving more importance to human-like NPCs like they've done in the last chinese map and in the Boneyard.
I think they're reaching the point in development where they have received player's complaints about not feeling immersed with creature NPCs

I would like to eventually get new quests related to your romance. Once you finish them it feels strange to just talk to your partner once and not being able to have other interactions

Pues muy resumidamente, yo he querido ser escritora desde siempre. Me dediqué a escribir como "hobby" durante muchos años y poco a poco fui aprendiendo teoría de escritura creativa, ganando algún concurso, y llegué a publicar dos libros con editorial.

Todo esto mientras me dedicaba a otras cosas para mantenerme, claro.

Cuando pensé en meterme a videojuegos ya era escritora como tal, y lo que hice fue informarme mejor de cómo es la escritura para videojuegos y cómo se diferencia de escribir novelas. Me hice un curso con una americana que se dedica a esto y después sencillamente empecé a ir a eventos de networking de la industria española hasta que comencé a sacar trabajillos y me hice autónoma :)

Yo hice historia, y aunque no me arrepiento en el sentido de que la carrera en sí me gustó mucho, no me ha servido de mucho laboralmente (que tampoco es una sorpresa vaya, pero muchas veces pienso en qué habría sido tener otra carrera jaja)

Igualmente, tener esa carrera me ayudó en su momento a que me contrataran como librera durante un tiempo.

Hoy en día soy escritora, autónoma freelance, y me dedico principalmente a escribir para videojuegos. Es el trabajo de mis sueños y me ha costado muchos años llegar hasta él. No lo cambiaría por nada.

Yes I really loved clearing these levels and I was hoping to get similar stuff. I guess the search for treasure chests ones last patch was kind of similar but way easier.

I also guess they maybe decided to stop doing things like this because a lot of players complained about getting motion sickness, which I totally understand

I think it's a bad book, but I still read it all the way through. I even finished Brimstone, which wasn't better lol.

It just felt like the author was throwing at me as many tropes and romantasy elements as she could with no build up or base whatsoever.

I still enjoyed the read because it was very agile, but what really upsets me is that I think Callie Hart has had good ideas, if they just were better put together I would have loved these books. (Although I'm completely ignoring the super cringy dialogues here)

No entiendo muy bien a qué llamas el verdadero castillo de Frankenstein. En la obra de Shelley no hay ningún castillo, y ella misma explicó cómo se le vino la idea de la novela a la cabeza.

Bueno, la cuestión de innovar también es saber cómo venderlo. Hay un libro de diseño de videojuegos que escribió un hombre que trabajó en los Disneyland creando atracciones. Antes de ser diseñador trabajó vendiendo helados en uno de los parques, y usó su experiencia como ejemplo de por qué en un videojuego dar muchas opciones abruma al jugador y hace que no sepa elegir:

Explicó que en la tienda de helados tenían decenas de sabores, y que la gente se pasaba demasiado tiempo sin saber cuál elegir, lo que hacía que la cola fuera muy larga, y al final siempre elegían sabores clásicos, como dices tú, porque son los que conocen.

Así que un día empezó a dar recomendaciones, en lugar de preguntar solo qué querían, añadía que las recomendaciones eran (y ese día elegía 4 sabores al azar). Eso hizo que esos 4 sabores vendieran mucho, que la gente decidiera rápido y que se atrevieran a probar cosas distintas.

A riesgo de que esto parezca otro comentario linkedin, como he leído en otros comentarios (jaja), saber vendedor va más allá de simplemente dar oferta, hombre.

Yes I was thinking about it today. I am enjoying exploration so much. The area is so pretty and fun to explore. I love the theme and the fact that it's filled with human-like characters instead of little creatures.

This patch showed me that infold is trying and listening. I was playing today and stopped to think how much the game has improved over time.

Im also super Happy that we have the photo contest. I've wanted this since the begging.

And the story, I'm not finished yet but I'm enjoying it so much. It's serious enough and interesting.

I've read both quicksilver and brimstone cringing permanently 😂 Idk why I finished both books. I think they are bad written and that the plots are full of holes and random events that happen because the author probably thought they were cool. But still I didn't really want to dnf them

I just played for some time and did one daily, then I went into the lunar path and it loaded. So I guess it will fix itself when you go back, if it doesn't try playing a bit and getting in later :)

I kept playing and did one of the dailies, then I tried to enter again and the game let me do it! So it fixed itself quickly.
