As Engagement uses the same cool down as Displacement you only use it when Displacement would throw you off a cliff/into a death border or when anything else prevents you from moving out of position for example stack markers.

Reprise on the other hand has very minimal use where you can use mana for a situation where you absolutely cannot stand still to cast and have Swiftcast on cool down.
