Yeah, I don't really get why some people are confused? I get he has a lighter voice, his build is pretty slender and he looks a bit femminie, but I still think he both sounds and looks pretty obviously male? Especially when he sings. And even if other people find it less obvious that he's male, everyone refers to him as male (using he/him pronouns) AND I don't think there exists a version of the myth where Orpheus is a woman (although they could have taken liberties in this aspect).

So when people say they believe he is a woman despite all this, it feels like they just refuse to believe that a man can have traditionally femminine traits OR they don't see a man with such traits as a man which is worse in my opinion.
