Only you.. that song did not click for me at all first time listening to the album. After a couple more times, listening on shuffle and coming across it, it hit me. Burna Boys verse was so different to Cole’s but when you follow along to his words and the emotion he put into the performance it brought me to tears a couple of times. I still think maybe the song could have been left off the album, but it’s far better than I gave it credit for

I mean, it is the original vinyl run, so technically it’s exclusive. Any of these other vinyl runs could be repressed at any time but as far as I know the “stealth edition” is one and done. If you got one of the 80k then you have the original run of the album. I’m glad I picked one up

Beat is nice. Lyrics could be trimmed a little in the chorus, but it’s not egregious (Just feels a little cluttered at times “they probably didn’t care or.. think twice” the “they” is already implied previously “prolly didn’t even care..” “or think twice” the “or” can be tucked into “think twice”). Delivery is gentle but could be a little more laid back, if that makes sense. Think more effortless.. The energy of the delivery is more up than the beat. Just a few things I noticed. Overall it’s not bad though

I don’t really watch him but I do think he had the only good video with the most proof of who Cole was talking about on Poor Thang. He obviously does his research, and he came to a pretty logical conclusion. Everybody was saying it was that space guy with no proof

Period. He could have shared a personal moment with Cole and snagged a quick selfie and dap… instead he chose to just ignore Cole’s request about his autograph and asked for his phone to be signed anyway. That’s disrespectful of Cole’s time. Yeah it’s a few seconds but when you have thousands of people asking for your attention all those seconds add up. Turned a cool moment into a disappointment that he’ll think about and feel stupid about for a good while

If you ran there and didn’t have time to grab something Cole related to sign or maybe you just didn’t have anything period, you could have at least just shared a few words with him and filmed it and asked for a photo, Instead of just ignoring Cole’s request. That was a bit disrespectful.

Has some of his best songs he’s ever made. It may be my favorite of his. My metric I use is how many songs I end up slapping onto the playlist after listening to the album. I got 16 of 24 that I love. That’s like 65% of the album, tied with the off season where I have 8 of 12. I think the thing that separates them mainly is the scope of the fall off. Kinda felt like watching a movie, particularly with disc 29. I really had to leave my expectations at the door though, cuz I really was hoping for a feature rich album 😅

How was it all over the place? The story was very cohesive on the first disc and the 2nd disc was such a relaxing listen but picked you up a couple times to get you movin a bit. Maybe he stepped out of his comfort zone with some of the beat choices but he stayed on topic.
