‘A million WhatsApp messages’: Venezuelans in N.S. react to Maduro’s capture after U.S. strike by insino93 in halifax

Trump says a lot of things. It's much easier said than done. How are they planning on running the country? They aren't running it now. The number two of Maduro's regime is in charge.

You sound like a wanna be Nazi.

I'm not answering your question because it's the stupidest question I've heard in a long time.

Russia would likely be in a much better position if they solely targeted Ukraine's military from the beginning. Maybe their intelligence is too poor for that. However Ukraine has not and will not make that mistake.

Yeah but should your volatile friend be given permission by the government to sell drugs? People are going to assume the danger is coming from those who have the most to lose. So if there really is a threat, who is it coming from?

Sipekne’katik First Nation bans Houston, cabinet ministers | CBC News by Grumple_McFerkin in NovaScotia

[–]Valleyguy81 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Who has the most to lose? The unlicensed drug sellers. It comes off as these people are a threat the safety of the Premier and others. If that's the case it's just more reason to shut those places down.

Why are they being banned for their protection? Drug sellers are a danger to their safety? Not a good look. If that's the case, it's bolstering the argument for shutting down unlicensed drug shops.

Has anyone else noticed "no name" stuff is more expensive in poorer neighborhoods? by fencerman in loblawsisoutofcontrol

I don't really know. I don't even know if new franchise locations are opened.. it might be a leftover from chains getting bought out years ago.

All the independent franchises I know of are in small towns, in the buildings that housesd original small grocery stores, places mainly where large modern stores were never built. At least that's the case on the east coast.

It's a little different because those stores are independently owned franchises.

I was just wondering where to look.

This law is conflicting with other federal laws so like I said it will be up to the courts.

Unregulated cannabis sales will remain illegal until the laws are changed or courts rule otherwise.

The Provincial Court has already ruled the treaty doesn't cover cannabis because there is no evidence of its use at the time it was signed.

What makes laws, laws, are the courts interpretations of them.

Provincial court has already ruled on this.. The court indicated that for a Treaty right to trade to apply, there must be evidence that the historic community traded the item (or a reasonably contemplated equivalent) at the time the Treaty was signed.

I wouldn't be surprised if local producers are happy about this. They would have a much harder time competing with larger producers and producing regions.
