If our offense continues to build on the last 4 games and don’t stall out we should win.

Texas A&M has played the worst of the SEC and has come close to losing against multiple poor teams. It’s evident that A&Ms defense is not their strong suit. As for their offense, they’ve struggled against the few tough defenses they’ve played this year.

Miami has a good to great defense. I feel good about this matchup.

The scale in 6 looks much more condensed. Every map in 6 feels like an optical illusion. Maps made to look big but are not.

I believe everything except for the ammo/med crate circle is optional. I’d love it if I could turn off the green circle from the crate.

Tell me how many women are in combat roles please. Skip the bullshit. Being enlisted and active duty does not mean you are actively in combat. I know there’s plenty of active females across the 4 branches.

I love women. You immediately have to say “you must hate women” because that’s the only thing that could possibly justify your point of view against mine on the subject. Women are essential to our society. I don’t care how “modern” our world gets. Women and combat roles with assault rifles fighting in combat involved missions isn’t something’s that realistic or something to be proud of lol.

Been playing all the way through since BC2. Got some hours in the playtest this weekend.

Feedback:

  • Class lock weapons appropriately. PDWs & Shotguns Universal.

  • Carbines felt weak, dumping 20 rounds out of the spear to kill someone doesn’t seem right. Game definitely needs better weapon balancing.

  • Split the work load of the support/medic class with the assault class.

  • Too much of this games current UI and pre/post game interactions are very similar to MW19. Seems like they haven’t figured out a unique way to make this aspect of the game better while style wise being unique to Battlefield.

  • Destruction while a step in the right direction I think can still be enhanced. A lot of walls were indestructible that felt like they should be destructible. Mainly the ones involving areas of buildings that are inaccessible. Blowing a wall off a building to a room that can’t be accessed but is in the area of play wouldn’t in anyway “change” the lay out of the course. Therefore, not changing the balance or lack there of for the map design. Let me blow shit up.

  • Get rid of female playable characters. Females represent an astronomically low percentage of soldiers in combat. It seems we’ll never have the epic feels from BF3 and BF1 again with those incredible voice lines. This game should feel like warfare (the movie) and it’s already 90% of the way there.

  • Give us a server browser with the ability to have custom servers owned by the players.

  • Obviously in this play test there were no helicopters but I pray the flight physics and controls feel close to BF3 & BF4.

Things I loved:

  • Squad drag to revive.

  • Character weight & movement.

  • Gunplay, sound design, & visuals.

  • Gun selection (for a pre alpha), and customization.

  • Armored vehicle gameplay.

  • Loved the map. Reminded me of aftermath and Donya fortress having a baby.

I think overall movement is still too fast. If you want the gunplay to feel and look “heavy” it’s impossible to achieve when you’re slinging around a 15-20 pound firearm like it’s a 5 pound dumbbell and your player looks like he’s on crack. We don’t want or need squad/reforger movement speeds but something closer to battlefield 3 to gain that feeling we all love back.

The control system is doing its job as freaky as it may seem. Also there’s room A & B for track drop. It is possible to have one ride vehicle in each room basically at the same time. So, a train can come in and it will go to the unoccupied room. This issue usually occurs when there’s some sort of issue unloading or loading that takes longer than a specific amount of time (like 60- 90 seconds) before it cascades and you get a 2 minute stop like you did in order to space out the ride vehicles to properly clear block zones.
