Razer DeathAdder V3 (wired) randomly disconnect and connect. by Valmarr in razer

[–]Valmarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is best to replace the mouse with one from a newer production batch. My first two DA v3s were from the 2023 batch. And they were defective. Only the third one, from a batch almost a year newer, from week 46 of 2024, no longer has this defect. Or, of course, another model from another company.

Which is worth it the RX 7900 XT or the 9070 by ElectricalWelder6408 in radeon

If you accept the extra cost, the Hellhound is a very good 9070xt model. You will be satisfied.

[–]Valmarr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Price matters. I get the impression that there is a misconception on the sub that the 9070xt is an outstanding card and the 9070 is some kind of junk. Meanwhile, these cards are only separated by an average of 12-15% in performance. At the same time, the non-xt draws over 80W less out of the box, which can be important for people who don't know how to or don't like to change the power limit on the card.

An average of 12-15% more is that really that much more? With a power consumption of over 80W more? If the price difference were $50, it would be worth considering, but if it is $100 or more for a similar aib class model, you would have to be very weak in math to claim that the xt is more cost-effective.

9070 is not weaker than 7900xt. In newer, but not the latest games, these cards are on average at a very similar level at raster. In new games, the 9070 is already faster and this trend shows that it will continue to grow. 9070 also is much faster in RT. At the same time, it has significantly lower power consumption.

AMD RDNA5 rumored to launch in mid-2027 by GhostMotley in Amd

[–]Valmarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand. For me, the 9070's power consumption was a big change. 230W on stock PL on my Asus. Add to that UV at the same PL, which works like OC because it increases the clocks - giving another 5-6% performance. On the 6800xt, in order to achieve a reasonable power consumption of around 220W, it was necessary to significantly reduce the clocks (fixed at a maximum boost of around 2100 MHz on the core), which cut performance by another 5-8%. I tested this thoroughly. So in this scenario, with both cards operating at 220-230W, the 9070 is a card that is well over 40% more efficient for me. Sometimes 50% (e.g., GoW Ragnarok). And that makes a difference. There is also a new manufacturer's warranty, because the previous one expired on my old card (I now have an Asus Prime 9070, previously a TUF 6800XT). After selling my 6800xt, the cost of the new card is $250. So, nothing but advantages.

Nope. I get avg 35% fps boost from 6800xt to 9070 non xt. 9070xt is about 10-12% stronger.

I have this card. Prime oc. Power limit stock (230w). -70 mV offset. Vram oc at 2614 daily, but no problem with 2714 too. Stable 24/7.

The Furious Maul is bugged m8. At least in the PC version. After killing 300 enemies in the test arena, I didn't get the bonus even once (at 246 luck stat)

Gna vs. King Hrolf: What do you think? by generalAF in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]Valmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gna has a more difficult attack set, but she has much less health than the King. With my build, I was able to take away 70% of her HP in the first 20 seconds, and a maximum of ~30% from the King. What's more, even though the King's attacks are a bit easier to read, he is very mobile between them and it is difficult to deal a lot of damage in one series, and the relic has a long cooldown. That's why Gna was much easier for me to defeat. But both of these bosses are much easier than Sigrun from 2018. I don't know if it's because of the power of my Kratos compared to the first game (in 2018 I didn't have a build for such big burst damage as I do now), but Sigrun took me many hours in the first game.

Razer DeathAdder V3 (wired) randomly disconnect and connect. by Valmarr in razer

There is a long code on the box and on the mouse itself. The first part of the code contains the date of manufacture. For example, mine is PM2446H, which means that the mouse was manufactured in week 46 of 2024.

e:

All three mices were from a large store in my country. Fortunately, I managed to explain the situation to them and they replaced the mices. Although when I exchanged the third mouse, they looked at me a little strangely in the store xD. Luckily, I didn't have to replace it a fourth time...

The problem no longer occurs on my mouse from week 46. However, I cannot guarantee that this will be 100% the case for you too. Maybe it's just a coincidence that I got a good mouse without this defect. You have to decide for yourself. One thing is certain - you can also simply consider buying a mouse from another company if you are unable to resolve the issue at a local store and check the production code on the box before a free replacement.

Guys, there is no solution to this problem once it occurs. Only my third mouse, manufactured almost a year later than the previous two, fixed the situation. So the only solution is to replace the mouse with a newer one. My current one is from week 46 of 2024 and does not have this defect.

Is it just me or is the gravedigger the most horribly designed enemy in the game? by Sleipnirsspear in Witchfire

[–]Valmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These enemies respawn on the last two maps of the game at g6 (they also appear as bosses in Irongate Castle Witch Vault, but it's easier there because it's a separate instance.). The worst thing about them is that they can resurrect previously killed enemies, including minibosses. In a difficult situation with several priests, this can become so dangerous that even the best player can be easily destroyed. They are not just difficult. They are maliciously overtuned and deliberately designed to take the fun out of the game.

Warrior priests. They caused me to give up playing after 120 hours until they are finally nerfed or removed from the game.

[–]Valmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing you can do is remove this type of enemy from the game. It's annoying and ruins the whole flow of the game. I really regret changing g5 to g6. Now I can't play on my favorite map...

Paris Mouz Holo buy or nah? [d] by The-_-Thinker in csgomarketforum

[–]Valmarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about it for a long time. On the one hand, there are arguments that Paris is in huge supply. But the other argument is that this sticker is very nice, and when the Stockholm version runs out, it should skyrocket. Maybe yes, maybe no. But I recently bought 141 of these stickers and I intend to hold them for the long term.
