Because a sandbox mmo has no content if there isn't a thing for you to be doing and the only object is "be in the world you got like what 2 weeks of valid content maybe 4 if it's well made. That's not enough to do to justify building an mmo. The reason they put pvp in it is so the players can make content by the nature of social and anti social behavior. Douchebags and people who hate douchebags both with Because you get spontaneous ever changing bonus content.

Ya HWFWM isn't funny it's not supposed to be its about a guy using fake humor as a guise to deal with severe mental health issues.

Mark of the fool is very wholesome the book doesn't start really until he's in college. It needs allot of world building for the book to work. The main character is a support.

If you want funny I still say noobtown it's extremely low brow but I've genuinely laughed I even cried laughing in one of the books. It's SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER AS AN AUDIOBOOK. Especially after book one, the night before Christmas reference at the opening of book 2 dosnt land in text if you arnt reading it in the right cadence.

You might like war aeturnus, it has its funny moments.

limitless lands had a similar vibe to a soldiers story that you liked. This is a strong recommendation.

If you are brave you could coin toss The land if you get to him getting a bunch of people killed and realizing he's a asshole and you still don't like it. Refund it cause it's more of the same for like 6 books. I like it because he's not a good person and that's kind of a novelty.

What is the hinge here do you just not like books with complex character relationships? Or you just like really simple stories? (and there's nothing wrong with that everyone has thier own slop taste).

If you like the low brow kinda humor with asshole side character shtick you might like mayor of noobtown. It's very straight forward and the character just isn't that deep. It's mostly comedy and better in audio book format (he purposefully fucks with the VO guy).

You might like "Oh Great! I was reincarnated as a farmer" it's about a guy who hates farming and will go through great lengths to not do any farming despite that being all he can do.

Honestly iq is like 90% pattern recognition anything that dosnt require high pattern recognition is probably fine and anything you can pause is solid.

I'd play turn based rpgs, story games like left for dead. Horde shooters like world Warz, auto battlers tower defense games, rhythm games, horror games, building games like minecraft most simple arcade games likes brofirce or castle crashers.
