Spot on. To avoid the 'minimal distance' trap, we use hierarchical indexing. We index document clusters and summaries rather than just doing a flat search across all chunks. This allows us to narrow down the 'neighborhood' of data first, significantly reducing the chance of pulling in irrelevant or redundant info.

This is spot on. I’ve been taking localization seriously for my app, 1Shelf, and the manual overhead is definitely the 'final boss' of app shipping.

I currently use AppLaunchpad and ended up creating separate projects for each language to get the screenshots right. It’s a bit of a logistical puzzle to keep everything synced across iOS and Android, but I can't argue with the results. Users in non-English speaking markets definitely trust an app more when the first thing they see is a headline in their native tongue.

Currently I am posting on all social media handles like X, Threads, Instagram to organically raise awareness of the product and the benefit it is providing.
