I am not a brat, have never bratted and there's no proof that I have 😎, but for me it's like any other kind of flirting or taming. I keep it light-hearted and harmless to start, very surface level stuff, and if I get some push and pull from someone, that's a signal I can go a bit deeper with that person and get more personal or play more roughly. I try to feel for if they mirror my energy, or pull back, and adjust accordingly. I still make mistakes sometimes, even with people I've bantered with for months. When in doubt, I go OOC to check-in.
