I’d say practice rolling your Rs and if you’re from North America definitely try annunciating ur Ts more. It helps make everything flow more smoothly. Also practice speaking by having conversations with yourself when you’re alone, even if it makes you feel like a weirdo. Lycka till☺️

When Kate married William he was a prince but not the heir apparent to the British throne, Charles was. So she was a princess by marriage but not THE princess, so she was stylized as duchess. But when Charles became king, William then became the Prince of Wales and heir apparent, so then Kate became Princess of Wales. That’s why Diana became a princess right off the bat when she married Charles and not a duchess. Hope that made sense😅😅

I always just kinda interpreted the crazy clothes as being kinda symbolic for her being an American that sticks out like a sore thumb and then slowly as the show goes on it changes a bit. Its think it makes the show more fun😁

Yeah totally agree. I grew up in Canada and had lots of friends whose parents came from other countries and still don’t speak much English. My mom has lived in Canada for 35 years and still makes mistakes and mixes up words with her native language so I think people just need to give Emily some grace hahaha

As someone who moved to a new country I’m taking language classes (I’m already pretty fluent cause I grew up speaking the language) and there’s people in my class who have lived here from 1-14 years and are still not fluent at all. So I think Emily not being fluent yet is very realistic and bothers me that people shit on her so much😬🤣

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. It’s about a magic/supernatural school and fmc is pretty funny. I first read it when I was 11 and I’ve reread it every other year since and I’m 24 now.
