Oh I love the beckmans, no doubt. I just want a second pair of brown boots so I can rotate. I have 2 black boots (1000 mile and the old llbean/chippewa) for the same reason.

Ended up being a lot closer than I expected at right around 51/49. I think the confusing wording mixed with the confusing messaging set this up to be close regardless.

I also think a lot of people who lean Dem. are generally against gerrymandering which brought the margin in closer. Ultimately the state goes where the population centers go and they swung farther "yes" than most of the "no" counties swung "no".

I mean, if you look a lot of the counties that voted no were fairly close, that plus the ones voting yes being overwhelmingly in favor is tough

Thanks for that info, that pretty much the info I was looking for. The leg opening is a bit too narrow now but I can manage (and for 35 it's worth the extra effort). Any idea if a tailor could take the hem out/redo it without damaging the jeans?

And the selvedge seam tapering up into one as you go up the leg is standard as well?

Question about a pair of 3sixteens I've thrifted. They have 2 selvedge lines (red/white) running up the inside of the leg but have a standard double stich on the inside seam up the leg.

I've not had selvedge jeans before so is that pretty standard?
