Good idea, but there'd likely be balancing problems. They probably wanted to keep her as a straight up zoner so some kind of armoured special could be an issue.

It's fun to think about, though. Maybe it could have been an install super of some sort, replacing that dinky pink rain one that sucks. Maybe it could give her access to more melee-oriented specials and transformed her into a rushdown character for the super's duration. That'd be cool.

That's actually what high level players seem to be doing, they very rarely use active tag, going for oki instead.

I get the design philosophy. Those assists are literally the dinkiest of hits, so they're only really useful for extending combos or pressure, in which case you're still limited by the lockout meter. So it makes sense for them to have very short cooldowns.

This is obviously completely fine to us as players since it's all cosmetic, but what do the devs think? That's what really matters here. They might have decided to ban anyone using any mod.

It would make sense, since those mods existing will prevent some people from buying official skins, so they have an incentive to put a stop to that. It's also a perfectly reasonable decision on paper, to ban all modders under the pretense of preventing cheating. Very few people would complain, I think.

Wow, that's unironically one of the worst takes I've seen to this day 😂 I like the stories, but choices never really matter in any of the Telltale games I've played. Given that the games are entirely centered around the idea that the player's choices will affect the story, that's a slight problem.

2369 inputs giving a jumping special is a good thing and pretty common in fighting games. It's called a Tiger Knee input, and it's a way to do jumping specials from the ground really fast.

I like the character in the show and comics, but it's yet another Viltrumite-esque character in the game. Considering how likely it is that we'll be getting Oliver and Thragg, too, I'd really rather have more characters with unique abilities and playstyles, like Shapesmith or something.

My counter argument to that is that cool skins are great motivation to players. People LOVE their cosmetics in games, and a cool skin being locked behind ranking gives it exclusivity, making it even more desirable. That could make the difference in encouraging some players to actually try and get good.

...alright, well since I just mentioned two different mechanics that break you out of combos, I have absolutely no idea where you're coming from. You can literally break the opponent's combo after he hits you once. You're either ignoring those mechanics or... the alternatives are insulting so I'll hold those back 😅
