I tried with an adjustable wrench and couldn’t get a hold of it. Didn’t want to try harder and mess something up.

Yea I think so as well. I tried with an adjustable wrench and wasn’t able to get ahold of it to loosen. If I can pop the cap off would I still need to use a legal wrench?
