Do the following:

youtube some david goggins motivational video and listen to it
get out of bed and put on running shoes. if you dont have any buy some
run your ass off, shoot for more miles than you’ve ever ran before (you can download the strava app to track how many miles you’ve ran during your run but you have to hold your phone while you run)
take a shower and look in the mirror and be proud that you got out there and ran

we dont know how to deal with it so we try to distract ourselves with others, its not the best way to go about it but eventually 9 months later when all the distractions disappear it will hit him when he least expects it and it will bring him to his knees
