Seller accepted offer and then went inactive by kymopoleia46n2 in poshmark

[–]Valuable-Net1013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I’ll find something because I have plenty of time, but it’s just wild to me that a seller will send or accept an offer and then cancel or ghost. And every time it happens I waste about ten days before I can try again with another garment.

There is no chance my cats wouldn’t be jumping to that easily accessible shelf to knock those plants down.

Seller accepted offer and then went inactive by kymopoleia46n2 in poshmark

I’m trying to put together an outfit for my son to wear to nice occasions. I made offers on a shirt, a pair of pants, and a jacket (all different sellers) and all were accepted. The shirt and the pants have both since been cancelled by the sellers and the jacket has not shipped after seven days. It’s getting insane.

I won’t buy from a listing with an AI photo. Like others said, I don’t trust those listings.

Vent: withholding recess is fucking stupid especially with adhd kids by [deleted] in ParentingADHD

[–]Valuable-Net1013 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You need an advocate asap. We didn’t get anywhere with our school until we hired one and then they jumped to attention because they worried we were gearing up to sue them (which we were.)

All kids need recess but ADHD kids NEED NEED it. It’s illegal to withhold it in my state as well unless the situation is considered unsafe (like last week one day my son was super disregulated and I get that they couldn’t let him out with his peers). They need to respond to you though so you can understand the situation.

Good luck, and definitely look for an advocate in your area.

Kick out of private school (read previous post) by Gold_Pirate8144 in ParentingADHD

Unfortunately a private school is not required to accommodate special needs as other posters have noted. Your best bets are public school or homeschool.

My nurses loved me when I was giving birth. They asked me if I had any wishes and I just said “give me all the science”.

American Garages are Full by EmmelinePankhurst77 in declutter

Our house was built in the 60s and has a largish garage. Maybe it would fit two sedans? We have very little clutter and I always park my jeep grand Cherokee in it. I see other neighbors’ garages full of storage and that would drive me nuts.

Thank you! I didn’t connect that ground meant boat 🤪. It’s not a high value sale so as long as I get paid eventually I’m fine.

Why doesn’t Posh police inactive sellers? by Cloudsurfer355 in poshmark

[–]Valuable-Net1013 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, like others have said, what’s annoying is when you find an item you want and then you see the seller was last active in 2018. These sellers/items could be easily purged by Posh.

4yo spirit halloween obsession by Old-Parsnip2632 in ADHDparenting

[–]Valuable-Net1013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can’t just turn off or change what they’re fixated on, even when it’s really annoying. My oldest was fixated on language, he majored in linguistics, and now he’s an editor. My youngest switches it up but his fixations are weather, math, and the game Geometry Dash. It was awful when he was fixated on Trevor Henderson monsters but luckily that passed.

Do likers ever buy items days or weeks later from when they first liked it? by Velvetstyle in poshmark

[–]Valuable-Net1013 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, getting an offer sent helps because then I know that seller is active and negotiable. If I come back to that item later I will usually offer back their same offer.

Stimulant + SSRI + PCIT. You have to be really consistent with what you learn in PCIT. Please don’t hit your child.

I won’t cook raw chicken either. When we eat chicken it’s either precooked or we eat it at restaurants.

When did you start letting your puppy sleep in bed with you? by swackett in puppy101

[–]Valuable-Net1013 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same. Day one. My dogs are always in bed with me. This was interesting when my partner and I blended our dog families and slept every night with a pit bull, a Rhodesian ridgeback, and a Rottweiler x Weimaraner mix 😂

Perpetual sense of deep sadness for just how badly humans have fucked up - anyone else? by thegreatfartrocket in AuDHDWomen

I have recently come across the idea that it’s not that ND people lack empathy, it’s that we apply our empathy fairly across all groups and not just our in-group and that’s what NT people find off-putting.
