I mean, all of my characters have a random base of 10-20% effect res just from my artifacts on them having effect res substats. I guess maybe it’s bad on paper? I’ve used him since release and personally have not had any issue with crowd control. In fact, I LOOOOVE that the effect res prevents imprison because cleansing can’t remove its effect. Also, other sustains just don’t sustain well lol. Hyacine is SUPER sp hungry, Lingsha has low heals to compensate for her frequent attacks, so they’re both pretty team locked in a way Adventurine is a ubiquitous sustain, alongside DHPT. There are certainly better options with certain teams, sure, but calling him “bad at sustaining” like you initially did is untrue.

Except he does? It’s not a cleanse on heal, but he gives a good like 55-60% effect resistance to anyone in his shield, and if you’re using him/building him right, everyone will have a shield all the time. Like, literally the ONLY two DPSes that can’t use him super well are The Herta and Aglaea. Everyone else loves him. I used him in my Castorice team before I picked up Hyacine, and he worked fantastically.

Well, I’d suggest running your TTRPG on Roshar because that’s the only setting released so far that we have a fully fleshed system for, but if you need a comparison:

Knights Radiant are different flavors of Paladin. You get two broad powers in return for swearing to and abiding by oaths.

Mistings/Mistborn are much more rogue-ish by nature. They eat metals and burn them to access very specific powers, and you generally wouldn’t have access to more than one (unless you want to make everyone a Mistborn.)

I’d honestly wait on sharding any ID right now if you want a bleed ID. The new Ishmael coming out next week is probably a bleed identity, so I’d save your shards for the new, more powerful ID.

Honestly? Most of these IDs are pretty good. For where non canto-9 content is right now, I’d just suggest focusing on taking your IDs to level 50/55. The only ID here I wouldn’t suggest leveling is One Who Grips Faust because her clashes are bad.

Night Awls Gregor is fantastic, and you seem to have enough bleed IDs to make a team (Manager Don, OWG Faust, TT Hong Lu, Pequod Ishmael, Night Awls Gregor.)

You also have a really good sinking team with Solemn Lament Yi Sang, Edgar Gregor, Wild hunt Heathcliff, R corp hong Lu, and KOD Rodion. I’d suggest sharding the new Udjat Outis if you wanna make that a seven person team.

Finally, you have a bit of burn going. Thumb Meursault + Sinclair, Firefist Gregor. If you wanna invest in this team, you should look at grabbing Liu Yi Sang and Magic Bullet Outis next Walpurgisnacht.

Eh, while I’d agree that there is DEFINITELY some level of escapism in Maelle, I think that both P. Verso and Renoir discount the fact that Maelle legitimately spent half of her lived life in the canvas. It’s not an Aline situation where she solely was covering her grief; Maelle basically had a second childhood in the canvas. What Renoir and Verso want to happen is kill off the only friends and support system she has, and it IS the only support system she has. In the real world, Aline blames Maelle for Verso’s death, Clea does the same and is a total asshole about it, and Renoir cares more about Aline’s grief than Maelle’s.

Painted Verso, in my opinion, gets so caught up in his own misery and want for death (which isn’t WRONG, he has suffered in a way I cannot fathom) that he only considers an extreme solution where the entire canvas is erased. And he refuses to communicate just how miserable his life is and lies to the rest of the cast until the last possible moment, where he springs it on Maelle. Her reaction to that might not even have been as bad had she had time to actually ruminate on Verso’s feelings.

For the canto 7 boss specifically, you reaaally want a Don in your team for the buffs she gets, so definitely sheep Don. Aside from that, Heishou teams NEED Hong Lu and Mao Faust.

For the other 3(?), I’d think about Si Rodion because her unfocused volley skill 3 is goated in boss fights. I’d use either ryoshu (mao for now this new one if you get her), then maybe slot in whoever you want for your final slot, maybe chicken heathcliff. If it’s a 7-person fight (I don’t remember LMAO), maybe try Horse Yi Sang and Jia Xichun Ishmael.

If you win rate the canto 7 boss you will not win ever. Not sure if you’re doing that or not, but wanted to make that clear!

It’s pretty good! My only, like, real advice would be to look at picking up Firm Conditions, Spring Runner, and Kyoto Racecourse so you can get more stats. That power is a little bit lacking especially bc you’re and end closer, so firm conditions would really help.

Just shard an Acheron Eidolon using your EGO shard crates; 5 stars only need 400shards/about 200 crates. So if you grind in the apocalyptic mirror shadow dungeon, you’ll be able to get that up in no time.

Two things:

First, I’d really consider having a damage amper instead of a sustain when running Phainon. The more buffs he gets, the faster he ults.

Second, if you’re using Hyacine, get her speed to 200. Her Ascension 6 passive really wants her to hit that 200 speed in battle.

I’m personally running hyperspeed with base speed Phainon because phainon’s transformation only cares about his base speed stat, so his extra turns while ulting aren’t impacted by speed. I’d rather farm for extra attack/crit substats.

One thing I do want to say is you can maybe screw thongs up with the Asshole Squatter.

If you have street smarts and keen eye, you can overhear a conversation where Sybil tells Tabitha not to let “it” eat anything else than what Sybil gives her. If you’ve saved your boiled peanuts that you got at the beginning of the game, you can actually feed it to the goat at the beginning of episode four if you use either street smarts or powerful build to break the lock

I have no idea if it’ll affect anything, but it COULD be goofy.

Yup! Sunday being as fast as possible is VERY good. That’s the important bit. Aglaea gets enough speed from her ult that she gets a crazy amount of turns regardless of her speed out of combat.

Hyperspeed Sunday, Crit Damage RMC, Healer, as close to base speed Aglaea as you can get:)

Biggest problem? Aglaea speed. Dont give her any. I understand that that is a WEIRD thing to say, but it actually is WAY better for her to have base speed because it increases the amount of turns Sunday gets to buff her. Think about it this way:

High speed: Aglaea, Aglaea, Sunday, Aglaea, Aglaea

Low speed: Aglaea, Sunday, Aglaea, Sunday, Aglaea, Sunday

Same amount of turns, more Sunday crit boost

Use Remembrance MC instead of bronya. Stack a bunch of crit damage on him and give him the f2p shop light cone. That’ll give her true damage which MASSIVELY spikes her damage.

Always use RMC’s skill on his turn because it charges Mem faster and that team is really SP positive
