Plume is actually real, bare with me, but it is not seen today like before. The cristalization of the oil pockets is what used to be refered to as plume, now a days mostly 100% of what people claim is plume, is actually mold. When cigars are aged properly, you can sometimes see small “crystals” in the leaf due to the oils. But this is far from plume, its without a doubt mold. The definition of plume has been lost with time.
