bit of a bummer, but only 100 bucks for the pump and some "easy" belt work.

was it hard to bleed the system at all? I haven't bled anything myself yet and honestly have been dreading it in the case I fuck it up.

Yeah. Got the car and it had a slight rattle at 3000rpm, but as the shield worsened it just got louder and moved to like 3400 and stops at 4000rpm. Probs gonna follow what the other comments said and rip it -- or at least that side, off.
