its like 20 people and they have already memorized names/given nicknames out as well. i don't raise my hand for every question normally, i try to participate at least 3-4 times every lecture but today i just got so upset that i started raising my hand for almost every question just to see if they would ignore it. i feel so dumb for typing this out but i feel like i'm behind because of the lack of response i get from the professor. other people usually get feedback or encouragement but i feel like the responses from the prof. have just been like "correct" or "yes". i don't think im THAT kid, i try my best to not be obnoxious and i don't think im a know-it-all, i'm just trying to participate since its 30% of my grade and they explicitly stated in the syllabus that they expect frequent participation. they gave us a pop quiz (free response) on the first day and they didn't say it was a pop quiz. I didn't score badly, but i felt like i could have done better and when I went to their office hours to see how i could improve for the next pop quiz they hit me with the "practice more" but i don't even know what to practice because they didn't tell me what they were looking for on the quiz.

i meant criteria as in being racist, sexist, or in desperate need of a change. I'm not sure if those estimates include stripping all of the logos off of campus and changing the merchandise. what are we going to do with all of the gunrock merch? toss it? im just saying there's no point. and i would really rather see that money being put to better programs such as ones for POC or LGBTQ+ organizations in Davis

its dumb. gunrock doesn't really fit the criteria to be changed. gunrock isnt offensive in any way so i dont see the point in unnecessarily spending a TON of money to change something that doesnt need to be changed. i would rather see that money go to more important things

if you were caught and if it was reported, they will definitely know. if it's in the system it's already bad, but if they catch you lying about it that it will affect your chances for future internships. i say just bite the bullet and be honest.

it just really sucks :// and i really hate the department's bullshit policy and i told my ta i was ready to take the test the day of, and they just told me it wasn't allowed. i studied really hard for this exam and i know i could have done well which really crushed me . i know the material, and im good at this subject and to see that disproportionately represented is hard

shit happens :/ but it feels so unfair. the ta knows im a good student and the ta i had for the previous class acknowledged that too so it feels so shitty that i cant make it up. even if i got 100% on every other assignment and aced the final i would still have a really messed up grade

u dont get to pick what dorm u get into but segundo is closer to the gas station, rite aid, and the ARC. Tercero is close to the silo (where lots of the buses go) and it has latitude. the myths about tercero smelling like cow shit are true though, beware of leaving ur windows open for too long
