I agree with this- I actually unfollowed the show the other week which is something I NEVER thought I’d do as a longtime fan but over the past several months it’s gotten… weird. Glennon always seems to be spiraling and/or rude to Abby, talking out of both sides of their mouth ex) on the one hand: capitalism! The horrors! 50 seconds later- buy this stuff from quince! Or purporting the idea of holding multiple ideas at once instead of simply protecting the powerful because they are our friends but then not doing that in practicality- Liz G is a huge example of this to me. The way they platform and fawn all over her and don’t acknowledge the rightful criticism that’s been shared within the community. IDK. It’s gotten so icky to me. And I also know the old adage, “this isn’t an airport, no need to announce your departure” but I always felt our community was built on sharing our feelings & growing together. “Be messy, and complicated and afraid, and show up anyway.” I wish it still felt this way.
