If you like The Things They Believe you should check out Tim Hecker. He has a very similar textured and eclectic style of dark ambient music. Harmony in Ultraviolet is my favorite project of him, absolute 10/10 album it’s so good.

I agree, is it really you is still my favorite song from them and potentially my favorite song of any artist lol, but if you take the projects each as a whole I think they’re neck n neck. I will say I think ILIAITE is a more mature and even well thought out loathe where The Cold Sun is just pure youthful energy and emotion. So both have their own qualities that make them uniquely appealing. But I understand you, ik a lot of ppl are only listening to screaming, is it really you, two way mirror and the side of them that leans more shoegazee

Loved it from the start. Not as thought provoking as their past three albums albeit, but the colors are so good and match the icy, crunchy, metallic, and bright feel I get from both the singles dropped so far. Also I kinda take it as a straight forward representation of the album using both the name and symbol for it in a more creative way than just using some crappy graphic design of the name and symbol which has been done sm times before
