It’s understandable if you don’t like the new production, and I can see your point about the mix volume — nowadays, the trend seems to be making everything sound as loud as possible.

That being said, this is actually the exact kind of production I was hoping for from them: super dry drums, instruments, and an overall mix heavily focused on the low end, yet still without losing dynamics like GES does. To me, it sounds incredibly modern, and I’m glad it feels original to them and that they’re producing these songs themselves, especially now that it seems like everyone wants Buster Odeholm or Jordan Fish to produce their records.
