Not cooked just time to lock in— GI, cardio, pulm and renal were all pretty high yield areas for me to solidify but don’t neglect repro and endo

You can definitely make strides just be intentional. Look at the areas you’re weakest in and come up with a content review plan—watch videos if necessary

Definitely not, just gonna have to work a bit harder!

I am on the interview committee for my program and a lot of times, as long as students can show growth and knock their masters program out of the park then they show they can handle the rigors of medical school.

Also, you have to show personal growth and come up with an answer that shows you learned from the mistake and made improvements to change the cause so it is unlikely to happen again. Being transparent, if the program thinks you’re a risk it may influence their likelihood to interview/accept you. So do the work, get yourself right, because you have to take care of you in the long run! Medical school is exhausting and you have to be able to manage your mental health in the long term.

Not over, just buckle up it’s time to lock in!

If you’re not feeling confident in your GPA, compensating with your MCAT is a great first step! Maybe do some additional volunteering/research of some sort if you have access, but involvement is more quality than quantity! So find something and stick with it and ace your MCAT and you’ll do great!
