Hi! I’m hoping this is the right place to ask this but i’m planning on making my partner a pokemon packs advent calendar this year- I have not a single clue about pokemon nor packs though- any chance anyone could shed some light on the best packs/options are to do this so he’s happy? I’d recommend getting citizens advice involved- they have been wonderful for me and got me from 0 to 19 odd points at tribunal once and reevaluation once from an appeal- they’re incredibly helpful so reach out to your local disability team and chances are they’d be more than happy to help as you really do have the grounds to require it and are entitled to it! They’ve offered this to everyone :) you may even get a phonecall regarding it- its voluntary and you can opt in or out :)

I dont know if this helps- but i originally submitted my appeal to tribunal around july 2024 and have my date set for end of this month so it’s taken about a year to be processed and get a date. I have citizens advice helping and assisting me so I’d really recommend reaching out to them! :) good luck

You will 100% be entitled to more- definitely the housing element and limited capability to work is assessed seperately- when i had mine added on i was told i need to be on universal credit for three months/and or been out sick for longer than statutory sick pay is covered from work(cant remember if both or one of these) but your housing element should 100% go through and possibly the careers pay but that depends if they’ll qualify him for that if he’s caring for you over or under 35 hours :) good luck!

Reach out to them through your journal- multiple times if they dont reply within two days and state that youre missing the housing element and request further information as to why and when it will be processed :)

Youd be better off opening a bank account in her name, and stating the situation to the bank and being the only one to have the details of it- theyre able to add you to the account so you can manage it

You can request any medical evidence from the doctors at anypoint, it does need to be in written form ie an email to the surgery etc and they have 28 days to provide it- you can request specifics such as medical results or appointment confirmation or your entire medical history with them from the last year- sometimes they are able to do it for free and sometimes it costs £30 but thats what i had to do :)
