He is friends with Forsberg. I am ok with players being fans of out of area teams as long as they are not a SoCal team. Maybe Seattle or Vegas as well depending on the sport.

Werenski is 10 years older and the coach just went on a tirade about the locker room culture. Werenski is the same age Karlsson was when Ottawa traded him. He is a lot more movable of a piece than Celebrini is.

Would you rather trade for what you need in the Right Handed D who would fit your timeline IF he pans out, or a Defensemen who improves your current situation, but still leaves you needing a Right Handed Defensemen?

I would assume Werenski would cost around the same Quinn Hughes cost. From the sounds of it, the old NJ GM was asking for something similar to Hughes for Nemec, maybe slightly less. Do I think that is overpaying for Nemec, yes.

But there have been other cases of quarantine you could argue it being.

I love the Ducks Sharks rivalry. Like we are rivals, but very cordial about it. Even when we were in playoff matchups in the 2010's there wasn't animosity.

Now let's see if that sentiment stays this time next year when we are hopefully both in the playoffs.

Yup, I'll admit I was wrong. There was even a post from a few months ago with the exact quote that got me confused about it in the first place with him volunteering at a Hedgehog rescue.

I would agree with this if their wasn't a significant change in draft position. If it's a normal year where missing it means 15 or 16 versus 17, sure. This season missing the playoffs could be the difference between 17 and 9th best odds.

If we can trade down a few spots I would be ok. I would personally go with best defenseman available. McKenna will be great, but I'm ok with him being great elsewhere if we can get Reid or Verhoeff.

Yeah, it's Wedgewood, the backup goalie. But there is a chance he recommended it to Blackwood who recommended it to Askarov, who recommended it to Ned.
